About me
I'm an engineer, sustainability advocate, and storyteller, passionate about systems that empower people, animals, and the planet.
I earned my B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley in 2016, with additional coursework in Mechanical Engineering. My professional background includes several years of technical analysis and consulting at Arup, where I contributed to operations and decarbonization strategies, construction and site design consulting, infrastructure delivery, and sustainability resilience for complex, district-scale projects across the world. I am LEED AP Neighborhood Development accredited, and my work reflects a commitment to regenerative, community-centered planning grounded in circular economy principles.
In parallel with my engineering career, I’ve worked on creative storytelling projects that examine the human experience through an emotional, speculative lens. I draw from themes of transformation, identity, technology, and justice that seek to imagine more connected presents and futures.
Beyond the technical, I love hiking, live music, activism, traveling, and mutual aid. Two refugee and immigrant support organizations I’ve volunteered with are the International Rescue Committee and Refugee & Immigrant Transitions. From tutoring and resume coaching to setting up homes and building gardens, all of my volunteering experiences continually shape my approach to equity, access, and belonging in every system I help design.
Across both my professional and creative work, I’m driven by good work that uplifts and inspires, whether through data-driven solutions or compelling stories. I am committed to building systems and stories that are humane, sustainable, deeply intentional, and inclusive for all.
